What is WILD Dogz insect protection dogwear?

The Wild Dogz insect protection product range helps provide long-lasting, effective and convenient insect protection for your dog. Our highly effective, durable products are the result of years of research and testing.

How does the WILD Dogz insect protection work?

 

The insect protection is tightly bonded into the fabric fibres of every product, so it cannot wash off or be transferred to your dog’s skin

 

Which insects can the products help to eliminate?

Our WILD Dogz products have been proven and registered to deter or knockdown fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, sandflies and midges. Many species and varieties of these insects have been tested, including those that can carry dangerous diseases.

How long will the insect protection keep working?

Our treated products are exceptionally durable and unique because unlike other products, the treatment has been bonded deep into the fabric fibres, instead of just being sprayed on. Our unique treatment will last through 70 detergent washes—the expected lifetime of a product. However even after this point the fabrics can retain up to 80% of their effectiveness.

How much protection is provided by WILD Dogz products?

While our products offer great piece of mind, as with many other forms of insect or flea and tick control there is no such thing as 100% protection. We recommend dog owners take all precautions possible to combat insects, continue other forms of insect protection measures and perform regular checks on their dog in conjunction with using our products.

Do WILD Dogz products have an odour?

No, our insect protection is odourless, colourless and does not change the feel of the product. It will not interfere with your dog’s sensitive sense of smell, or be noticeable to people in any way.

How do I care for the insect protected products?

Your WILD Dogz products should be machine-washed separately in cold water using standard laundry detergent. You should not dry clean the products as this can reduce their effectiveness.

What happens if you brought the wrong size?

We are happy to exchange an item but only if it is unused, clean and in original packaging. Postage costs to return the item to WILD Dogz Australia is the buyer’s responsibility. Likewise the postage cost of the replacement item to be dispatched is also the buyer’s responsibility and we will require collection of the postal fee before shipping out the replacement item. To avoid this issue, if you are unsure of how to measure sizes, we are more than willing to help - don’t be afraid to ask. There are measurement charts on each product so we suggest you consult these before choosing the size of your item.

We suggest you try your item on over an old piece of sheet to prevent them getting covered in hair and stained. Items returned need to be in new condition with tags attached - in the same condition you received them. We cannot accept a return if it is dirty, has hair on it or been damaged by your dog.
